DR UCHE OGAH IS NOT THE PROBLEM — HE IS THE MAN WHO HAD THE COURAGE TO TELL THE TRUTH
Let nobody twist this matter.
Dr. Uche Ogah did not disgrace himself. He distinguished himself.
He showed what many in politics lack: courage, clarity, and independent judgment.
At a time when too many politicians are imprisoned by bitterness, envy, and blind party fanaticism, Uche Ogah chose to stand on performance, truth, and visible results. That is why his public support for Governor Alex Otti has shaken so many people. Not because he lied. Not because he was confused. But because he said openly what many already know privately: when governance is working, honesty demands that you acknowledge it.
Let us be clear: Ogah is not a lightweight in Abia politics. He is a former Minister of State under President Buhari, a known APC figure, and a man with his own political structure and voice. So when such a man publicly says Otti deserves support, that is not a careless statement. It is a deliberate political judgment.
And what exactly was his “crime”?
That he refused to become a slave to empty partisan hatred.
That he refused to insult the intelligence of Abians by denying what is visible.
That he chose truth over noise.
Ogah’s position is actually deeper than many critics can understand. He has shown that one can support President Tinubu at the federal level and still support Governor Otti in Abia if one believes both choices serve stability, development, and progress. That is not betrayal. That is called political maturity. It is the mentality of a statesman, not a puppet.

Those attacking him have missed the point completely.
A serious politician is not one who shouts party slogans. A serious politician is one who can read the times correctly.
Uche Ogah has read the times correctly.
He understands that the ordinary Abian does not eat party bitterness.
The ordinary Abian wants roads, order, discipline, development, and responsible leadership.
And when these begin to appear, only a dishonest man pretends not to see them.
That is why Ogah’s stance is brave.
It is easy to follow the crowd.
It is easy to hide behind party lines.
It is easy to pretend not to see reality.
But it takes a man of conviction to say:
“This is good, and I will say so, no matter who is offended.”
That is what Uche Ogah has done.
History is never kind to cowards.
History remembers the men who stood by truth when truth was inconvenient.
So no, Uche Ogah should not be vilified.
He should be respected.
He should be applauded.
He should be recognized as a man who chose truth over tribal politics, performance over propaganda, and courage over conformity.
In all of this, Governor Alex Otti also deserves credit. A governor whose work attracts acknowledgment even from a prominent figure in another political camp is clearly doing something right. Ogah’s support did not come from emptiness; it came from what can be seen on the ground.

So let the record be clear:
Uche Ogah did not weaken himself by supporting what is working. He strengthened his relevance.
He did not act like a saboteur. He acted like a statesman.
He did not speak out of confusion. He spoke out of courage.
And in a political environment crowded with pretenders, that courage is rare.
