IKENNA UKWA ATTENDS THE FLAG-OFF CEREMONY OF THE SUSTAINABLE NASENI EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME, NSEP
The All Progressives Congress, APC House of Representatives Candidate for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa today graced the National Agency for Science & Engineering Infrastructure, NASENI Empowerment Programme, domiciled under the Office of the Presidency, for beneficiaries in Abia State.
The empowerment programme, held at the Uma Ukpai Memorial Primary School, Asaga Ohafia was attracted by Dr. Armstrong Ume Takang, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Ministry of Finance Incorporated, MOFI.
In his vote of thanks, Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa expressed gratitude to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving the empowerment initiative and for the construction of a Digital Learning Centre in Asaga Ohafia under the National Information Technology Development Agency, NITDA.
He also commended Dr. Armstrong for his love for home and for ensuring that the empowerment programme was sited in Asaga Ohafia, including the NITDA Digital Learning Center and the reconstruction and retrofitting of classroom blocks in Uma Ukpai Memorial Primary School, Asaga Ohafia.
“These interventions are clear demonstration that the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu is reaching our people at the grassroots. As for me and a partner in progress, I will continue to collaborate with well-meaning Nigerians and government agencies to attract more meaningful projects that will create jobs and improve the lives of our people,” Hon. Ukwa stated.
Highlights of the event was the presentation of Empowerment kits to beneficiaries by Dr. Armstrong Ume Takang and his wife, flanked by the Executive Vice Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of NASENI, Mr. Khalil Suleiman Halilu, Chief Ikenna Ukwa, among other dignitaries.
