EVULUOGU IBEKU: AN ELDER THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN JAIL.
I watched the latest prancing of content by Chief Charles Ogbonnaya, aka, Evuluogu Ibeku as he busied himself demonstrating craze before a motley rented crowd with cheap allegations of federal rice palliative diversion against Honorable Obi Aguocha. I couldn’t help but exclaim, how are the mighty fallen? This content by Evuluogu don cast. it is laughable and a mockery of common sense.
It all shows that Charles Ogbonnaya, at over 80 years is now afflicted by unprecedented political senility such that circumspection demands that he should be taken into the inner room or sanctum of political retirement to rest before he goes blind.
A man who started life as a butcher, rose from grass, to local government chairman, Special Adviser to the governor, two times Hon. Commissioner, Nominated a governor who served two terms, had an uncle who served as governor for two terms, called the shots in the state for straight 24 years. What more can politics in Abia still give this man that is new? if not for greed.
My advice to Chief Charles Ogbonna is to disappear from political radar or participation and rest before the youths begin to help him to forcefully retire. His books with Ikuku Abia, Chinedum Orji is too tardy and still before the anti corruption agencies. If he hopes there’s still time for him to exorcize as a chief priest of ibeku egwu asaa to start again in political rebirth, then his jail time is imminent.
His latest stagecraft to play himself to relevance is equally time barred. Only his political requeem is left to be celebrated. I’m only waiting now to be invited to honor the official political retirement of Chief Charles Ogbonna, the famous Evuluogu ibeku. Nothing else should matter to him after a sizzling political journey. Good morning.
Dr. Engr Odo Ijere, okpotemba of Ohafia.
