IKENNA UKWA HONOURS 2026 EBEM OHAFIA NEW YAM FESTIVAL, FELICITATES EZIE-IN-COUNCIL
The leading House of Representatives hopeful for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa has joined the good people of Ebem Ohafia to celebrate the 2026 Ebem Ohafia New Yam Festival.
Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa, who is proudly a son and an in-law to Ebem, felicitated with the Ezie-in-Council and the entire Ebem community on the joyous occasion of the New Yam Festival, describing it as a celebration of thanksgiving, hard work and abundance.
Speaking on his behalf, Barr. Emeka Ibem Uduma Kalu, PhD and Hon. Mba Ukaha stated that Ikenna Ukwa needs no introduction again in Ohafia, as his love for the people and his visible contributions speak for him.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Ukwa said:
“Ebem Ohafia is my root. Ebem is my home. As an in-law and a son of this great community, I will always identify with Ebem. This is why when I attracted solar-powered street lights through the NDDC, Ebem was the first community to benefit. And more dividends of democracy are still coming.”
He extolled the Ezie-in-Council for preserving the rich cultural heritage of Ebem Ohafia and for sustaining peace and unity in the community.
He assured the Ebem people of his continuous support and promised to attract more federal presence and more dividends of democracy to Ebem and the entire Ohafia clan when elected to represent Arochukwu/Ohafia in the National Assembly.
He prayed for a bountiful harvest and for continued peace and progress in Ebem Ohafia.
Though unavoidably absent due to pressing engagements, Chief Ikenna Ukwa was ably represented by Hon Mba Ukaha, Barr Emeka Ibe Uduma Kalu, PhD, Chief Lucas Eme Uche, Barr Udo Uduma and his wife, Chief Mrs Ezinne Udo Uduma, Chief Cliff Obia, Mr Collins Agwu Uduma Iro, and other members of his team.
