OHAFIA LGA COUNCIL BOSS CELEBRATES 2025 ARMED FORCES REMEMBRANCE DAY IN UMUAHIA
The Mayor of Ohafia LGA, Chief Eleanya Kalu recently joined forces with the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex C. Otti , to celebrate a significant event. Together, they honored the Nigerian Legion, Abia State Council, on the 2025 Armed Forces Day in Umuahia.
Chief Eleanya Ojuu Kalu, who had previously taken over the leadership of Ohafia LGA from Chief Bourdex in a grand ceremony, demonstrated his commitment to community and state development by participating in this important celebration.
The 2025 Armed Forces Day celebration was an opportunity for the government and people of Abia State to come together and show appreciation for the sacrifices and bravery of the Nigerian Armed Forces. The event highlighted the importance of recognizing and honoring the contributions of the military to the country’s security and well-being.
By attending this event, Chief Eleanya Ojuu Kalu and Dr. Alex Chioma Otti among other dignitaries demonstrated their support for the Nigerian Legion and their commitment to recognizing the vital role of the military in the country’s development.
