Pandemonium As Fans Invade Pitch After Referee Awards Late Penalty To Rangers Against Enyimba
Pandemonium has broken out at the Cathedral after the referee awarded a late penalty to Enugu Rangers against rival team, Enyimba of Aba, in Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL.
The Southeast Derby turned rowdy after the home team players, Enyimba staged a walkout following the official decision.
Enyimba fans invaded the pitch and disrupted the match.
Before the disruption, the match was goalless draw (0-0)
Report have it that 20,000 fans from both teams filled the stadium to witness the much anticipated match.
