IKENNA UKWA HONOURS 2026 IKEJI ARO OKEIGBO, FELICITATES EZE ARO, EXTOLS ARO RICH CULTURAL HERITAGE
The leading House of Representatives Candidate for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa, today, honoured the 2026 Ikeji Aro-Okeigbo Cultural Festival held in Arochukwu, Arochukwu LGA of Abia State.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Ikenna Ukwa felicitated with His Imperial Majesty, Eze Aro Dr. Eberechukwu Oji, Eze Aro of Arochukwu Kingdom, the entire Arochukwu Traditional Council, and the good people of Arochukwu on the successful celebration of Ikeji-Aro 2026.
He described Ikeji-Aro as more than a festival, but a symbol of unity, royalty, identity and resilience of the Arochukwu people, noting that the Arochukwu Kingdom remains one of the most culturally rich and historically significant kingdoms in Igbo land and Nigeria at large.
Hon. Ukwa further extolled the leadership of Eze Aro Dr. Eberechukwu Oji for his fatherly role in preserving the cultural values of Arochukwu and for providing purposeful traditional leadership that has continued to unite Arochukwu sons and daughters at home and in the diaspora.
He assured the Arochukwu people of his commitment to always identify with them and to continue to support cultural initiatives that project Arochukwu/Ohafia federal Constituency to the world.
Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa, who was unavoidably absent due to other pressing engagements, was ably represented by Hon. Mba Ukaha and other members of his team, including Chief Lucas Eme Uche, Barr. Udo Uduma, Chief Dr. Mba Imo, Hon Anya Okorie, and Mr Francis Igwe.
