SENATE ABIA NORTH 2027: BEYOND RHETORICS; THE QUINTESSENTIAL UKO NKOLE IS END OF THE DISCUSSION
We , currently, have in our hands the season of politicking. Such seasons bring forth all manner of characters that project themselves in diverse colorations just to sway support for themselves from their people. We have a pot-pouri of established , not-so established and green-horn politicians. But discerning minds should be able to seperate the mix.
There is incumbency. But what has Abia North got to show for it beyond defending Northern agenda? The few pedestrian dividends of demo racy supposedly attracted by the incumbency are, essentially, to stop our people from seeing the deceit. Same goes for the crocodile tears. When a man is obsessesed with attaining hallowed positions instead of improving the lot of his people, he panders, irretrievably, to the whims and caprices of those who pay the Piper. We can not be perpetually subservient. There comes a time when even the most humiliated says ‘enough is enough’. That time is NOW. We have to BREAK the long drawn recycling of subservience!
Then, there is also a discordant cacophony of promises from intenders and trialists. But these are exactly what they are – PROMISES!!! RHETORICAL PROMISES!! What promise have we not been treated to over and over again? Infact, there are no new ones. Now, we have a plethora of finished achievements,completed projects, uplifted and empowered constituents so much so that we need no promises! The established projects in every ward in Aro/Ohafia LGA are eloquent promises of the more that is going to come! ” I will” is inferior to ” I did. ” End of story.
Rt. hon. Uko NKOLE is, hereby, presented to Abia North as their UNDILUTED QUINTESSENCE. He did it before; he will do it again and again. Follow who know road.
