ABIA 2027: THE CHOICE IS NOW CLEAR
WHY I AM BACKING DR ALEX OTTI FOR 2027
After 24 years of the old political order, Abians chose change in 2023. Today, the results are visible.
As an Industrial Revolutionist, I Know What I Am Looking For.
I am not supporting Dr. Alex Otti for the 2027 Abia Governorship Election because of party politics, I am supporting him because I see the beginnings of an industrial transformation.
My philosophy is simple:
An Africa that produces what it consumes, processes what it grows, manufactures what it imports and exports what the world needs. And that transformation must begin with the right infrastructure.
Power First — Because Power Is The First Language of Industrialization
You cannot industrialize without electricity.
This is why Governor Alex Otti’s power strategy particularly interests me.
His administration established the legal and institutional framework for an Abia electricity market through the Abia State Electricity Law 2025 and Abia State Electricity Regulatory Authority (ASERA) which assumed full regulatory control of Abia’s intrastate electricity market from Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) on December 24, 2025.
Today, operators including New Era Electricity Distribution Limited, APL Electric and Geometric Power Aba are operating within the new regulatory framework.
That is bigger than electricity.
That is economic infrastructure if you ask me. Because reliable power means machines can run.
Machines create production, production creates jobs and jobs create wealth.
That is industrialisation.
Opening Abia To The World
Dr Otti understands that Abia cannot become an industrial powerhouse while remaining economically inward-looking.
That is why the Abia Airport Project matters. The Governor pushed for the proposed airstrip to become a full-fledged airport, and construction is advancing.
And now there is the proposed Azumini–Obeaku Seaport and Inland Waterways Corridor, for which Otti approved an immediate feasibility study in 2026.
Airport, Seaport, Roads, Power and Industrial parks are the arteries of an economy that wants to produce and export.
Building The Industrial Ecosystem
Governor Otti’s administration is also positioning Aba around industrial production—not merely trading.
The transformation of Ariaria International Market and Ekeoha Market, together with the push for industrial parks and investment infrastructure, points toward a more organised commercial and manufacturing ecosystem.
And this is exactly where my industrialisation philosophy meets his development agenda.
I believe in:
ONE COMMUNITY, ONE FACTORY.
ONE FAMILY, ONE COTTAGE INDUSTRY.
ONE YOUTH, ONE JOB.
The above doctrines will culminate in economic growth and development of Abia State.
Abia already has the entrepreneurs. What the entrepreneurs need is power, infrastructure, finance, technology, markets and access to the world.
The Roads Are Not Just Roads
Dr. Otti’s administration reported 414 completed roads covering about 864 kilometres, with another 82 roads under construction.
To me, these are not simply kilometres of asphalt —
A road connecting a factory to a market is an economic asset.
A road connecting a farm to a processing plant is an industrial asset.
A road connecting a community to a major commercial centre is an economic opportunity.
That is how I look at infrastructure.
SO WHY AM I BACKING DR ALEX OTTI IN 2027?
Because I am not looking for a Governor who merely distributes political appointments, I am looking for a Governor who understands the architecture of production.
Power.
Roads.
Markets.
Industrial parks.
Airport.
Seaport.
Investment.
Manufacturing.
Jobs.
Exports.
That is the ecosystem Abia needs.
After decades of political promises, Abians now have something very important: a government whose performance can be measured.
So my question for 2027 is simple:
DO WE GO BACK TO WASTED YEARS OF PDP OR DO WE BUILD FORWARD?
The PDP can contest, the APC can contest, every party is entitled to contest. But political structures should not be more important than performance.
I am therefore campaigning for Dr. Alex Otti because, from the standpoint of an Industrial Revolutionist, I believe Abia needs continuity, consolidation and acceleration.
We have started building the infrastructure.
Now we must build the industries.
We must turn Aba into a manufacturing and export powerhouse.
We must turn Abia’s young people into producers.
We must turn our communities into productive economic clusters.
We must turn Abia from a consuming economy into a producing economy.
THAT IS WHY I AM SUPPORTING DR ALEX OTTI IN 2027.
NOT FOR POLITICS, BUT FOR PRODUCTION.
NOT FOR PARTY, BUT FOR INDUSTRIALISATION.
NOT TO GO BACK, BUT TO BUILD FORWARD.
ONE COMMUNITY, ONE FACTORY.
ONE FAMILY, ONE COTTAGE INDUSTRY.
ONE YOUTH, ONE JOB.
ABIA MUST MOVE FROM CONSUMPTION TO PRODUCTION.
AND I BELIEVE DR ALEX OTTI DESERVES THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEAD THAT NEXT PHASE.
