The Concerned Citizens of Ohafia International (COCOI) wishes to announce to the general public of its planned Home Coming Ceremony Meeting slated on Sunday 31st of December 2023, and also the pre-event awareness Road Sensitization Excercise, coming before the event, which is on Saturday, 30th December 2023.
The Road Sensitization Excercise/Rally, which is sequel to an earlier announcement, is to create awareness of road mishaps within Ohafia environs, and also to bring to public notice the activities of the Concerned Citizens of Ohafia and its numerous achievements so far to Ohafians.
Below are the brief programs of the two-days events:
(1) 30th December 2023: Road Sensitization Rally, which takes off at ADs Hotel, off Ofali Agwu Secondary School, before OGSS, Amaekpu Ohafia.
(2) The Lux t-shirts and caps being paid for by members are to be worn on the day of the Road Sensitization Rally ( Saturday 30th December 2023), while members are to put on any other befitting attire of their choice on the main event day, (Sunday 31st December 2023).
(3) There will be visitations to the places of accomplished projects of the Concerned Citizens of Ohafia, still on the Saturday 30th of December 2023, which are as follows:
(I) Mama Orie (the blind woman at Elu Ohafia),
(ii) Nde Ajah Compound at Chief Willy’s house Amaekpu Ohafia,
(III) and the proper handing over of Old Soldier’s house at Okagwe.
(4)To record a smooth and successful procession of the Rally, members who came back home during this period with their cars are earnestly and kindly implored to turn up with their cars by 6:00am at ADs Hotel Amaekpu Ohafia, so as to enable other members who are not with cars to join the rally.
(5) Adequate security measures has been made for the Rally, as the Nigerian Civil Defense Corps Service (NCDSC), will join the procession in order to maintain: safety, security, orderliness and ultimately control vehicular and pedestrian movements.
(6) In order to spice of the Rally, the services of a mobile DJ/MC has been contracted, which among other things, will be to create awareness of vehicular road mishaps within Ohafia as well to announce the achievements of the organization to the Ohafia public.
(7) Sunday 31st December, will be the day of the main event, including the Award Night to deserving members of the organization and refreshments, which kicks off proper at 5:pm and rounds up at 11:30 pm.
In conclusion, members are kindly required to make their inputs to the above announcement to spot on gray areas to the foregoings for possible fine-tuning.
