‘Dey Your Dey’, Fubara’s Live Band Sings Amid Political Tension In Rivers

A live band which sings for the Governor of Rivers State, Sim Fubara, has rendered a song with the lyrics, ‘Dey your dey’, during an event.

The lively musical ensemble made its debut following Fubara’s speech at the inauguration of a housing project involving 20,000 units in the Ikwere area.

In a viral video on Saturday, the crowd was enthralled as the band sang, “Dey your day make I dey my dey, nobody worry nobody.”

This is coming amid heightened political tension in the state.

Fubara’s predecessor and current Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, also had a live band led by gospel artiste, Bamidele Adeek, also known as Sensational Bamidele.

Wike’s band was known for its famous ‘As e dey pain dem, e dey sweet us’ song.

According to Bamidele, his compositions were inspired by events and the governor’s prevailing mood.
