ABIA: GOV OTTI SUSPENDS MEMBERS OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICE COMMISSION
The Executive Governor of Abia State, Chief Dr Alex Otti last night suspended the members of Local Government Service Commission
The suspension directly involves the Chairman and members of the Abia State Local Government Service Commission
A statement announcing the suspension was signed by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs, Prince Sir Uzor Nwachukwu
The suspension is with immediate effect as they’re directed to hand over all Government properties and items in your possession, and convey their hand-over note to the Secretary to the State Government.

SUSPENSION
In consideration of the provisions of section 58 of the Local Government Law CAP 117 Laws of Abia State, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Outi OFR, the Executive Governor of Abia State, has ordered your suspension from office with IMMEDIATE EFFECT, as Chairman and members of the Abia State Local Government Service Commission.
You are therefore requested to hand over all Government properties and items in your possession, and convey your Hand-Over Note to the Secretary to the State Government.
For the avoidance of doubt, this suspension is effective from this day, 21 day of July, 2023,
