Ihechiowa Community Honoured Chief Dr. Daniel Chimezie Okeke with a Chieftancy Title ‘ENYIOMA 1 of IHECHIOWA’
The APC Candidate for House of Representatives, Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency Chief Dr. Daniel Chimezie Okeke was on saturday 10th September 2022 honored with the chieftaincy title “ENYIOMA 1 of IHECHIOWA’ during their annual thanksgiving and Iriji Festival.
The chieftancy title was conferred on Chief Daniel Okeke by Ihechiowa Council of Traditional Rulers, and the Eze-in-Council Ihechiowa Community, Arochukwu LGA of Abia State.
According to His Royal Majesty Eze Linus Nto Mba (Eze Linto) , the chieftancy title conferred on Chief Daniel Okeke is in recognition of his immense Philanthropic gestures and humanitarian aid to Youths, the Elderly, Widows, Orphans, the Sick and less privileged in our society, noting that the people of Ihechiowa are very aware of Chief Daniel Okeke’s exemplary community and humanitarian services and are proud to be associated with him.
In his response, the “‘ENYIOMA 1 of IHECHIOWA’ “, Chief Daniel Chimezie Okeke thanked the traditional ruler, the Eze-in-Council and the entire people of Ihechiowa Community for finding him worthy of such a title and recognition.
According to chief Daniel Okeke, who hails from Ututu in Arochukwu, the Chieftancy title conferred on him will help in no small measure to strengthen his relationship with the people of the community. He promised to always contribute his own qouta in humanitarian service, the development of his home community and that of Ihechiowa community going forward.
The thanksgiving and New Yam festival had in attendance high profile individuals including all the Kings, Queens and Executive of Ihechiowa Development Union, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa former Abia North Senator ,Ifeanyi Uchendu Deputy Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly,Honorable Mike Ukoha Member representing Arochukwu State Constituency,
Sir Joe Eze Aru and so many others.
