JAMB Releases Another 36,540 UTME Results The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released additional 36,540 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results withheld for further investigation. This was in addition to the 531 results released the previous week, bringing the total results released to 1,879,437. JAMB Releases 2024 UTME Results The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has announced the release of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, results. Reports have it that over 1.94 million candidates registered and sat the examination in 118 towns and over 700 centres across the country. While announcing the results in Bwari, Abuja, on Monday, the Registrar of JAMB, Prof Ishaq Oloyede, said a total of 1,989,668 candidates registered for the examination, representing 24.7 per cent higher than the figure for the year 2023. American International School Refunds $760,910 Bello Children’s Fees To EFCC The American International School of Abuja has paid the sum of $760,910.84 allegedly deposited by the embattled former governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Bello was said to have deposited the sum of $845,852 to the school in respect of five of his children. The EFCC is persecuting Bello for allegedly defrauding Kogi State to the tune of N80.2 billion.
