After commissioning the $800M Geometric Power Plant on Monday, the company will start the distribution of power to residents in Aba mega city, comprising 9 local government areas. Aba Geometric Power Integrated Company will become the first electricity company in Nigeria to generate and distribute power on their own through gas. Aba will be separated from the national grid. The company has laid a pipeline to distribute gas from Awaza to their station in Osisioma. There is a 99% certainty that Aba will enjoy 24/7 electricity.
