PRESS STATEMENT:
IKENNA UKWA CAMPAIGN COUNCIL UNVEILED AHEAD OF 2027 GENERAL ELECTION
The campaign structure for Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa, the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, has been formally unveiled ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa Campaign Council comprises eminent party leaders, stakeholders, and grassroots mobilizers drawn from Arochukwu and Ohafia LGAs.
Announcing the leadership, the Council will be led by High Chief Uche Ogboso as Leader. High Chief Daniel Chimezie Okeke -Mezie Abia will serve as the Chairman, while Hon. Chief Mba Ukaha is the Director General.
Other principal officers include:
- Engr. Chief George Nnanna Kalu- Deputy Chairman,
- Mazi Chibuike Jonas – Assistant Leader,
- Hon. Chukwu Ndem- Deputy Director General, Arochukwu,
- Hon. Edward Okocha – Deputy Director General, Ohafia,
- Hon. Ikechi Anya – Consigliere,
- Mr. Richard Ukwa Richard De” Angelo- Principal Personal Assistant
In order to deepen grassroots reach, Special Ward Leaders were also appointed to coordinate activities in key communities. They are;

- Hon. Igwe Ezelu- Special Ward Leader, Ozu Abam,
- Hon. Austine Emeka Bonny- Special Ward Leader, Ikwun/Ihechiowa,
- Hon. Ude Agbai Egwu- Special Ward Leader, Ndi Elu Nkporo,
- Barr. Emeka I. U. Kalu, PhD,- Special Ward Leader, Ebem Oha.
An official date will be announced for their inauguration in due course, while more names will be unveiled that will handle other key units of the campaign council.
