Captains Of Industry, Top Political Leaders, Nollywood Veterans Make List As OTTIMANIA LEGACY MOVEMENT Unveils Campaign Structure

Captains of industry, political leaders, legal practitioners, Nollywood veterans, entertainers, media professionals and grassroots mobilisers feature in the movement’s state, zonal and local government leadership

The OTTIMANIA Legacy Movement has unveiled a 209-entry leadership and campaign structure comprising prominent political figures, captains of industry, professionals, entertainers, Nollywood veterans, community leaders and grassroots mobilisers as part of its preparations for the 2027 general elections. The structure is designed to coordinate the movement’s activities across Abia State in support of Governor Dr. Alex Chioma Otti’s re-election bid and other Labour Party candidates.

The leadership list is headed by former Minister of States for Mines and Steel Development and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Uchechukwu Samson Ogah, CON, while Ambassador Dr. Osita Offor, popularly known as “De Ultimate Commander” and “Ikenga Gburugbururu,” serves as President. The nine-member conveners’ group includes High Chief Raymond I. Nkemdirim, MFR; Pastor Caleb O. N. Ajagba, PhD; Engr. Henry Okoroafor; Hon. Ikechukwu Uwanna, SAN; Navy Commander McDonald Ubah (Rtd.); Mazi Sunny Afurobi; Hon. Chimezie Ukaegbu; Hon. Dr. Salome Obiukwu; and Hon. Lady Grace Ibeh.

The 32-member patrons’ list features prominent political and public figures, including Prof. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, GCON; Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu; Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Emereuwa; Rt. Hon. Agwu U. Agwu; Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe; Dr. Sir Mike Okiro, CFR; Prof. Chinedu Nebo; Prof. Barth Nnaji; Chief Mrs. Catherine Uju Ifejika; Senator Darlington Nwokeocha; Hon. Chief Obi Aguocha; Hon. Chief Ginger Onwusibe; and Prince Uzor Nwachukwu, alongside other distinguished personalities.

The 13-member Advisory Board includes Dr. Uchechukwu Samson Ogah, CON, as Chairman; Pastor Caleb O. N. Ajagba, PhD; Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah; Hon. The 65-member state executive structure assigns responsibilities across legal affairs, security, strategy, contact and mobilisation, publicity, women and youth affairs, creative media, entertainment, welfare, finance, diaspora engagement, information and communications technology, special duties, media relations, and budget and planning. The team includes legal practitioners Kenneth Ahia, SAN; Kelechi Nwaiwu, SAN; and Chimezie Kingsley Okorie, SAN; as well as Director-General High Chief Uzor Ekworomadu, Dr. Uduma Nnate as EXECUTIVE SECRETARY while Director of Publicity and Spokesperson is Mr. Bright Ejike, and several other professionals and political organisers.

The movement’s creative and entertainment component features veteran actor Ejike Asiegbu, actor Chinedu Ikedieze, MFR, popularly known as Aki, actor and filmmaker Emeka Enyiocha, actress Uche Nnanna Maduka, entertainers Ejike Collins and Mary Uche, and other personalities from the creative industry. The list also names Michael Ugochukwu, popularly known as Rugged Man; Okechukwu Edward Ukeje, known as Nigga Raw; and Dr. Anderson Chimereucheya, known as Andy Shurman, among those assigned creative and artistic responsibilities. Their inclusion gives the structure representation from entertainment, media and public communication alongside its political and administrative teams.

At the senatorial-zone level, 43 positions have been outlined across Abia North, Abia Central and Abia South. The zonal teams are expected to coordinate mobilisation and engagement within their respective areas, working with local government officers and community stakeholders. The Abia North list includes Chief Oliver Egeonu, Chukwuemeka Eni Kalu and Mr. Roy Maduka; Abia Central includes Engr. Ifeanyi Okorie, Osinachi Hyacinth Nwaka and Hon. Nkechi Chibueze; while Abia South includes Elder Nwachukwu Nkemakolam Justice, Hon. Chidiebere Dick and Hon. Elder Dike Lucky Onyemaechi.

The local government structure covers all 17 LGAs of Abia State, with coordinators and additional officers assigned in several areas. The appointments span Arochukwu, Aba North, Aba South, Isiala Ngwa South, Osisioma, Ukwa West, Ukwa East, Isuikwuato, Umuahia South, Bende, Ohafia, Ugwunagbo, Obingwa, Umuahia North, Umunneochi, Ikwuano and Isiala Ngwa North. The Ukwa West team, in particular, includes a broad range of positions covering coordination, administration, strategy, mobilisation, women and youth affairs, organising, and finance.

With the new structure, OTTIMANIA is positioning itself to coordinate its activities through state, senatorial-zone and local-government levels ahead of the 2027 elections. The movement’s stated objective is to mobilise support for Governor Otti’s re-election and the return of Labour Party candidates, while encouraging participation across communities and political constituencies in Abia State.

The published list contains 209 position entries across its leadership and campaign structure. Since some individuals appear in more than one section, the number of entries should not be interpreted as 209 unique individuals without a separate name-by-name verification.
