DON’T PANIC OVER GUNSHOTS – NIGERIAN ARMY ALERT TO OHAFIA RESIDENTS
The Headquarters of the 14 Brigade Nigerian Army, Ohafia has announced a scheduled shooting exercise.
Venue: Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Shooting Range, Ohafia
Date: From October 5 to October 15, 2026
Time From 9:00 AM daily (Day and Night exercise)
Purpose: Routine military training to improve soldiers’ marksmanship and combat readiness.
Residents of Ohafia and neighbouring communities should not panic when they hear gunshots.
The exercise will be inside a controlled and secured environment.
All civilians should stay away from the shooting range and surrounding areas throughout the period.
No unauthorized movement around the training zone.
Obey all safety instructions from military personnel.
