YOU ARE RIGHT ON THE CENTRAL FACT—THIS FACTORY WAS NOT ATTRACTED BY THE OTTI ADMINISTRATION

Thank you for insisting that the record be properly checked.

Further verification shows that my earlier description of the Ultimum Beverages factory as an investment “attracted” by the present administration was inaccurate.

The factory was commissioned by Governor Alex Otti on March 25, 2026, but commissioning a private factory is not the same thing as originating, attracting or beginning the investment.

Publicly available company information confirms that Ultimum Limited had already commenced operations in Nigeria in 2022. Its Razzl beverage brand was subsequently introduced in 2023. These dates establish that the investment and business operations predated the present Abia administration, which took office on May 29, 2023. 0

The report states clearly:

“The company started operation in Nigeria in 2022. Shortly thereafter in 2023, Razzl, a brand of carbonated soft drinks, was launched…”

The company’s official website also describes Ultimum Limited as a Nigerian subsidiary of the Kadji Group, headquartered in Lagos, with its manufacturing centre located in Osisioma, Aba. 1

The available evidence therefore supports the following distinction:

  1. The investment and company operations existed before Governor Alex Otti assumed office.
  2. The factory was located and developed at the Osisioma industrial cluster before its eventual commissioning.
  3. Governor Otti commissioned the completed facility in March 2026.
  4. The present administration may legitimately claim that it supported the completion of the project, improved the surrounding business environment or reconstructed access infrastructure.
  5. It cannot accurately claim to have originally attracted an investment that had commenced operations before the administration came into office.

Indeed, when Governor Otti met the company’s management in July 2025, the government’s own report said the delegation came to brief him on the completion of the first phase of the factory. The report described Ultimum as a company already “built at the Osisioma industrial cluster.” 2

That wording is important.

The Governor was being briefed about the completion of an existing industrial project. He subsequently pledged government support and approved the reconstruction of the road leading to the factory.

That is commendable facilitation, but it is not the same as attracting the original investment.

Nairametrics reported the March 2026 commissioning, but its own account merely stated that the Governor commissioned the facility and described it as evidence of private-sector confidence. It did not establish that his administration originated or attracted the project. 3

Premium Times similarly described the plant as a newly completed facility belonging to Ultimum Limited and located within the Osisioma industrial cluster. It did not provide evidence that the investment was initiated by the Otti administration. 4

THE RECORD MUST THEREFORE BE CORRECTED

Governor Alex Otti commissioned the Ultimum Beverages factory.

His administration reportedly supported the company and addressed access-road challenges.

However, available public records show that Ultimum Limited commenced Nigerian operations in 2022—before the present administration.

Therefore, the factory cannot honestly be presented as a fresh industrial investment originally attracted by the Otti government.

On the specific claim that physical development at Osisioma started in 2021, I have not yet located a sufficiently authoritative public document stating the exact construction commencement date. That date may require the company’s building approval, land documents, environmental assessment, project records or a dated construction publication.

But the verified 2022 commencement of Nigerian operations already proves the central argument:

The project predates the Otti administration.

Adjunct Pastor, you were right to demand a deeper fact-check.

I withdraw the earlier claim that this factory was attracted by the present administration.

Commissioning is not attraction.

Supporting completion is not originating the investment.

The records must always be stated accurately—even when the correction is uncomfortable.
