BREAKING NEWS: IKENNA UKWA ADOPTED AS APC SOLE ASPIRANT FOR AROCHUKWU/OHAFIA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY
The Members and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ohafia LGA, in conjunction with members of the Reality Organization and the OUK Movement, have unanimously adopted Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa as the sole aspirant for the House of Representatives seat, Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, ahead of the party’s primary election scheduled for Friday, 15th May 2026.
The endorsement was announced on Thursday, 14th May 2026, during a stakeholders’ meeting held at Skog Event Centre, Amaekpu Ohafia.
At the meeting, party leaders, ward executives, and representatives of the Reality Organization and the OUK Movement resolved that Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa possesses the requisite capacity, consistency, and grassroots acceptance to represent the APC and secure victory for the party in the forthcoming general election.
Speaking on behalf of the stakeholders, leaders of the endorsing groups stated that the decision was reached after a comprehensive review of all aspirants, noting that Chief Ukwa’s track record of service, party loyalty, and commitment to the development of the federal constituency distinguished him as the most qualified candidate.
Chief Ikenna Ukwa, a frontline aspirant for the House of Representatives seat of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, expressed gratitude to the APC members and stakeholders for the confidence reposed in him. He pledged to uphold the trust, consolidate party unity, and pursue a legislative agenda focused on infrastructure development, youth and women empowerment, education, and improved representation at the National Assembly.
The stakeholders further called on all APC members and delegates to support the consensus decision in the interest of party cohesion and electoral success in 2027.
