JUST IN: IKENNA UKWA ARRIVES EAGLES SQUARE FOR THE ONGOING APC NATIONAL CONVENTION
The Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate President of Nigeria, Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa has arrived with other Abia delegates for the ongoing APC National convention in Eagles Square, Abuja.
The National Assembly leadership, Party Stakeholders, members of the National Working Committee, Governors’ and Members of the National caucus, the President of the Senate, and Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, and President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, HE Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu have all arrived and are seated at the venue of the convention.
The Chairman, 2026 National Convention Planning Committee, HE RT Hon Aminu Bello Masari will declare the convention proceedings open, while the Secretary, HE Mai Mala Buni, Governor of Yobe State will read the layout of the convention proceedings.
The Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives and the Secretary, Election Subcommittee, Rep. Benjamin Okezie Kalu will give a brief remark about the election during the election process.
At the end of the convention, the APC will elect the new National Working Committee of the party, and subsequently, adopt the Ward, Local Government, State and Zonal congresses.
