IKENNA UKWA FELICITATES OHAFIANS ON THE 2025 IRI JI OHAMOHA OHAFIA (NEW YAM FESTIVAL)
The Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate President of Nigeria, Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa has sent his heartfelt felicitations to the Ohafia Council of Monarchs and the entire Ohafia community on the joyous occasion of the 2025 IRI JI OHAMOHA OHAFIA (New Yam Festival) celebration scheduled to hold on Saturday 25th October 2025, at Achichi Ohafia, in Elu Ohafia LGA of Abia State.
Chief (Dr) Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa in his congratulatory message describes the event as a momentous occasion where OHAFIANS come together to showcase our rich cultural heritage and traditions, and as well, give thanks to Almighty God for the bountiful harvest.
“As we gather in a unique way to celebrate the bounty of our land, the richness of our culture and in thanksgiving to God Almighty, I wish to express my profound appreciation for the resilience, unity, and spirit that define our community, Ohafia”.
While commending the efforts of all those who have worked tirelessly to make this celebration a success, Chief Ikenna Ukwa prayed that the blessings of the harvest season will continue to strengthen the bonds that unite us as one community.
