GODA DG, ODUM, RECEIVES ABIA STATE ORIENTATION AGENCY (ABSOA) TEAM ON COURTESY VISIT

The Director General of the Greater Ohafia Development Authority (GODA) Engr. Obinna Odum, yesterday evening received members of the Abia State Orientation Agency, Ohafia chapter on a courtesy visit at the GODA Headquarters in Ohafia.

The team, led by the Director General of the Orientation Agency, Lady Ure Abazie, arrived shortly after conducting a sensitization rally in Ohafia LGA. The rally addressed pressing societal issues such as drug abuse, over-speeding, vandalism of government property, and other negative social trends.

Lady Abazie, while briefing the GODA Director General on the activities and accomplishments of ABSOA during the day’s outing in Ohafia Local Government Area, decorated him with a face cap inscribed “Abia Ohuru”

In his remarks, Engr. Odum, warmly welcomed the team and commended their sustained efforts in promoting social values and positive reorientation across the state. He emphasized that the vision of the “New Abia” must be embraced and supported by all, noting that the state has moved from what it used to be to a functional and progressive society.

He pledged GODA’s continued support to the Orientation Agency, particularly within the Abia North region, and called on residents to cooperate with the agency to ensure the success of its sensitization campaigns.

Delivering the vote of thanks, the Ohafia LGA Coordinator of the Abia State Orientation Agency, Mr. Moses, expressed deep appreciation for the warm reception and support, promising to forge a cordial relationship with the Greater Ohafia Development Authority.
