IKENNA UKWA REGISTERS FREE NECO FOR INDIGENT STUDENTS IN OHAFIA LGA

The educational friendly Philanthropist and serial Entrepreneur, Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa has registered free NECO examination for indigent students across secondary schools in Ohafia LGA of Abia State.

Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa , said the gesture and initiative is another part of his contributions to the academic pursuits of our students, especially the indigent ones, adding that he felt the need to embark on the free registration, considering the economic hardship which has rendered some parents incapable of catering the financial needs of their children who are in school.

Chief Ikenna Ukwa, who is the Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate President of Nigeria and founder, IKENNA & JENN UKWA FOUNDATION reiterated his avowed determination to keep embarking on initiatives that will be impact positively to society and ameliorate the sufferings of the populace in various communities in Abia State.

He charged the beneficiaries to utilize the opportunity given to them to acquire a High School certificate and prepare thoroughly in order to pass creditably and make their parents proud. Chief Ukwa, therefore, through his representative and Director General of his pro-group, IKENNA UKWA PROGRESSIVE GROUP, Mr Francis Igwe disclosed that the foundation will soon unveil her next plan of developmental projects that will cut across communities in Ohafia and Arochukwu LGAs, which will be beneficial to the men, women and the youth.

Recall that, Ikenna Ukwa has since the inception of his foundation carried out educational programmes which includes distribution of customised exercise books and academic materials to primary and secondary schools in Ohafia LGA, bursary and scholarship to some indigent pupils and students in primary, secondary and tertiary institutions, among others.
