My dear Constituents of Ohafia South State Constituency,
Fellow Abians,
Distinguished Nigerians,
I bring you warm greetings as we step into the new month of October and, more significantly, as our great nation marks its 66th Independence Anniversary today, 1st October 2026.

Happy 66th Independence Anniversary, Nigeria!
Sixty-six years ago, on this day in 1960, our founding fathers secured for us the precious gift of self-determination. That historic moment remains a source of pride and a call to continuous service. As we celebrate this milestone, we remember the sacrifices that made our freedom possible and renew our collective resolve to build a Nigeria that truly works for all its people.
To my beloved constituents in Ohafia South: thank you for the trust you have reposed in me, and ready to repose in me once again as I once again seek your support and vote for my re-election for a second tenure in office. Your resilience, industry, and commitment to progress continue to inspire the work we do in the Abia State House of Assembly, which has given the needed legislative support to our dear governor Dr. Alex Chioma Otti to effectively pilot the affairs of the state by delivering the much needed dividends of democracy in all phases of the state. I remain dedicated to advocating for improved infrastructure, quality education, healthcare access, agricultural support, youth empowerment, and the overall wellbeing of our communities.
To all Abians: our dear state continues to make steady strides under purposeful leadership of our dear and pragmatics and hard working governor Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, with his hard working, obident and loyal deputy; my own dear brother and friend, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu Lekwachi. Let us sustain the spirit of unity, hard work, and peaceful coexistence that will accelerate the development of Abia and improve the lives of our people.
To Nigerians everywhere: on this Independence Anniversary, may we rededicate ourselves to the ideals of Unity, Justice, Equity, Security, and shared prosperity. May the Almighty God grant our leaders wisdom and grant every citizen the strength to contribute positively to nation-building.
As we begin this new month and mark this national anniversary, I pray for unity amongst us, peace in our land, progress in our communities, and prosperity in our homes.
