DOUBLE HONORS!
It is with deep pride and boundless joy that I felicitate with the management, staff and players of Ahudiya Nnem football club of Abiriba and Abia Warriors football club of Umuahia for gaining promotion to the Nigerian national league and qualifying for CAF confederation cup respectively.
The trajectory of both clubs has been in the right direction over the past few years. You have shown grit, determination, courage, discipline and a very healthy dose of self belief culminating in the new levels you have found yourselves.
I exhort you to build on these milestones, ensuring you don’t rest on your oars. It is only a matter of time before you attain the zenith.
It is most gratifying to note that both clubs have arrived where they are thanks to two notable sons of Ohafia LGA.
Dr. Daniel Robert Oyeani aka “ROCO” is the indefatigable proprietor/sponsor of Ahudiya Nnem FC while Chief John Obu is the GM of Abia Warriors FC.
Both are astute football administrators who have brought their experience and skills to bear in the management and development of their respective clubs.
