Otti’s Grassroots Supporters Gear Up for 2027.

Ambassador Moses Onyegbule, General Coordinator of Igbo Ekene Global Development Union for Grassroots Frontiers for Dr. Alex Otti, has rallied perspective ward leaders and thought leaders in Umuahia at Ahiaukwu Olokoro, Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia State, to support Governor Alex Otti’s reelection bid.
The meeting, held in preparation for the upcoming wards leaders and stakeholders meeting in Itaja-Obohia on May 12, 2025, aimed to mobilize support for the governor’s second term.
Onyegbule emphasized the task ahead, stressing the need to reelect Governor Otti for a second term and assured that leadership positions in the organization will be evenly distributed, ensuring everyone is carried along and no one is shortchanged.
The ambassador praised Governor Otti’s good work, noting that even opposition parties and critics acknowledge his achievements.
Onyegbule lauded Dr. Uduma Nnate, founder of the organization, for conceiving the initiative and urged members to support him.
He praised Governor Alex Otti’s administration for its commitment to good governance and development in Abia State.
Onyegbule said that over 200 roads are either completed or ongoing across the state, including the 6.8 kilometers Port Harcourt Road, Aba, and the 67 kilometers Umuahia-Uzuakoli-Abiriba-Ohafia Road and Gov. Otti’s administration has also embarked on a N10.78 billion project to revitalize primary healthcare facilities, aiming to improve healthcare services for Abians.
He lauded Governor Alex Otti’s commitment to fostering innovation, research, and entrepreneurship in the state.
The wards leaders and stakeholders meeting in Itaja-Obohia, Olokoro according to Onyegbule is expected to further mobilize support for Governor Otti’s reelection bid.
With the governor’s popularity and achievements on the ground, Onyegbule expressed optimism about his chances in the upcoming election.
