IKENNA UKWA PROGRESSIVE GROUP INAUGURATED IN NKPORO, OHAFIA LGA
The Ikenna Ukwa Progressive Group has been officially inaugurated in Nkporo, Ohafia LGA of Abia State with the goal of positively impacting the community and her members.
The IKENNA UKWA PROGRESSIVE GROUP, is a pro-group of Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa , the Senior Legislative Aide to The Senate President – Nigeria with the aim to expand its reach and bring meaningful projects and empowerment to the people.
During the inauguration on Saturday 8th March 2025, the Director General, Mr. Francis Igwe, who led other Excos to Nkporo emphasized the importance of dedication and hard work in achieving the group’s objectives. He also highlighted the founder’s commitment to extending impactful projects to other clans and communities in Arochukwu and Ohafia LGAs.
While responding after the inauguration, the Coordinator of Ndi Elu Ward, Daniel Obasi Ifegwu and his counterparts in Ndi Agbo and Etiti Ward in Nkporo,
Kalu Akuma Uko and Agu Ogbu Kalu respectively pledged to carry out their responsibilities effectively, aligning with the group’s core objectives.
They also reiterated their support for Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa ‘s efforts to provide assistance to the less privileged and applauded his ingenuity and humanitarian works, especially in areas of provision of basic amenities, infrastructures, educational support programmes, which primary and secondary schools in Nkporo benefitted from including his numerous empowerment initiatives to artisans.
In his vote of thanks, the Deputy Director General, Ohafia North, Mr Chibuzor Azu Arunsi while congratulating the Ward coordinators on their well-deserved appointments urged them to serve with dedication, and passion and work together to build a better and formidable group.
He, in addition, thanked the founder, Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa and his team for their tireless efforts in bringing everybody together for the purpose of making impacts to humanity and society at large.
