Attached below is a Communique from the National Body of JUSUN.
Meanwhile, I’m very happy to learn from a very reliable source that Abia is one of the very few states that have started the implementation of the New Minimum Wage for JUSUN. Abia is even ahead of the FG at the moment.
No wonder JUSUN Abia State Chapter refused to respond to our repeated request then to show us the template being used by other states for implementation during the negotiation with them so that we would do the same thing.

The Alex Otti led-government is not infallible, however, as far as this government is concerned, the welfare and well-being of Abia workers at all levels shall remain paramount, but in negotiating, the government would at all times ensure that it enters into an agreement it will be able to fulfil according to its financial capacity.
The government also expects any group or groups negotiating with it, to do so with high sense of responsibility, civility, honour and honesty.
From what I know, Governor Otti desperately wants to build a civil service that will be a positive reference point, just like Abia has suddenly become a positive reference point less than two years he has been on the saddle.
