POWA National President Dr Mrs Elizabeth Egbetokun Pays Courtesy Visits To ABIA State Gov. Otti And Prince Benjamin Apugo, Ochiagha Oparaukwu Ibeku In A Mega Empowerment Program

Today, 17/01/2025, Abia State Police Command, Police Officers Wives Association held a mega empowerment program presided by the POWA National President Dr Mrs Elizabeth Egbetokun.

On arrival, the National President POWA paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Abia State, His Excellency Dr Alex Chioma Otti and Prince Benjamin Benedict Apugo, Ochiagha Oparaukwu Ibeku. She appreciated them for their unwavering commitment and support to Abia State Command and POWA.

In response, she was warmly received and they promised continued collaboration in future initiatives.

The POWA President also visited the Abia State Police Command, where she was received in a grand and colorful style. It was a homecoming event that featured parade display, cultural dance, drama and welcome songs by POWA expressing their joy and enthusiasm to her visit.

Thereafter, a mega empowerment program for late police officers wives (LAPOWA)police officers wives (POWA) and police wives (PWA) was held at the International Conference Center, where over 500 officers wives and widows were empowered.

The empowerment Items include Hisense refrigerators, bags of rice, wrappers, cartons of noodles, bottles of groundnut oil, popcorn machines, cooking pots, industrial cooking gas cylinders,packs of bottled water, packs of soft drinks, grinding machines, and sewing machines.

The beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the command and prayed for strength and grace for the National POWA President to continue her impactful work.
