Amb. Dr. Osita Offor (Ultimate Commander), the Senatorial Candidate of ADC for Abia North in a Press release this morning faulted the declaration of APC Candidate Senator Orji Uzor Kalu as the Winner of the inconclusive Senatorial Election in Abia North.
He said INEC Electoral Officer for Abia North personally addressed people where Election didn’t hold in their Polling units that Election will hold the next day. Only for them to keep postponing and eventually declared a winner. He said about 50,000 votes we’re expected from the over 50 Polling units where Elections did not hold.
What was the justification for declaring result and disenfranchising law abiding citizens he queried.
He said apart from being inconclusive, the Election in Umunneochi and Isuikwuato was married with Irregularities especially Vote buying through transfers which he said APC was openly engaged in.
He advised INEC to reverse itself and conclude Elections in Ohafia, Arochukwu and other places Elections did not hold
