Uko Nkole Consults Bende Traditional Rulers, Reaffirms Commitment To Grassroots Leadership
The senatorial consultation of Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole, an Abia North Senatorial Zone hopeful, continued in Bende Local Government Area with an engagement with the Bende Traditional Rulers Council and their Ugoezes.
Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole was accompanied by Mr. Karibe Ojigwe, Mr. Emeka Philips and Bar. Jonas Udensi, candidates for Bende Federal, Bende South and Bende North constituencies respectively.
The delegation, led by Engr. Uchenna Okagbue, Leader of the NDC in Bende LGA, was received at the palace of HRH Uchendu Okorie, Chairman of the Bende Traditional Rulers Council.
The consultation provided an opportunity for the delegation to pay respects to the traditional institution, engage the royal fathers and share their vision ahead of the 2027 elections.
Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole also used the engagement to advance the message of the NDC and its Presidential Flag Bearer, Peter Obi, as consultations continue across Abia North.
The engagement underscores the importance of traditional institutions and grassroots stakeholders in the collective effort to build a new political future for Abia North and Nigeria.
