IKENNA UKWA ATTENDS ABAM WOMEN’S AUGUST MEETING IN OZU ABAM
Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa , the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, today honoured the invitation of Abam Women during their annual August meeting held in Ozu Abam.
Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa who received a rousing welcome from the youths and the women, while addressing the gathering reaffirmed his commitment to prioritizing the welfare of women in the Federal Constituency. He described women as the pillars of both the home and society, and pledged that their wellbeing and economic empowerment would remain central to his representation, when elected.
In demonstration of his support, Hon. Ikenna Ukwa made a cash donation to the women and presented 100 wrappers to INYOM ABAM ONYERUBI to mark the occasion.
In her remarks, the President General of Abam Women expressed appreciation to Hon. Ikenna Ukwa for his generosity and honouring the women’s invitation. She offered prayers for God’s guidance and success as he seeks to represent Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections.
Also speaking, the former President General of Ozu Abam Development Union, Mr Dan Okoronkwo reaffirmed the resolve of Ozu Abam people to canvass support for IKENNA UKWA and ensure he wins come 2027. He added that IKENNA UKWA has demonstrated capacity and has proven that if given the mandate, he will perform creditably and make the federal constituency a center of attraction with unprecedented developments.
Chief IKENNA UKWA was accompanied to the visit by members of his campaign council, party executives, members and stakeholders.
