BREAKING NEWS!!! IKENNA UKWA EMERGES WINNER OF APC PRIMARIES FOR AROCHUKWU/OHAFIA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY
Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa has emerged winner of the All Progressives Congress, APC, primary election for the House of Representatives, Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency.
The primary election held on Saturday, 16th May 2026 across all the wards in Arochukwu and Ohafia LGAs, concluded with members of the party casting their votes in line with the party’s guidelines for direct primaries.
According to the official results declared by the APC Electoral Returning Officer for the Federal Constituency, Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa secured the majority of valid votes cast, thereby emerging as the party’s flagbearer for the 2027 general election.
In his acceptance remarks, Chief Ukwa thanked the party leadership, members of the party, and stakeholders for their confidence and support.
“I dedicate this victory to every APC member in Arochukwu and Ohafia who believes in progress, loyalty, and service. The work begins now. Together, we will present a united front and ensure that our constituency receives the attention and development it deserves,” he said.
