The Ikenna Ukwa Progressive Group, IUPG, led by the Director General, Mr Francis Igwe over the weekend embarked on a tour in all the clans in Arochukwu LGA to interface with the members of the socio-political group, founded by Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa.
Mr Francis Igwe while addressing the members of the group in Abam, Ututu, Ihechiowa, Arochukwu and Isu clans thanked them for their steadfastness and dedication. He urged them to remain good Ambassadors of the progressive group and extends hands of fellowship to others, who may wish to join, considering the supportive roles and sterling performances of the founder, Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa who prioritizes the welfare of her members and has continued to improve the livelihood of the society through his numerous humanitarian initiatives across all the clans in Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency.

Mr Francis, while assuring them that Chief Ikenna Ukwa is poised to take his developmental initiatives to the next level, enjoined the members to give all the necessary support to the founder, and prayed for God to grant him the grace, strength and victory as he prepares for the journey ahead 2027.
He further advised the members to take this moment and register for their PVC, which remains the only critical tool to be used to elect the best, and also take advantage of the extension of time and revalidate their party membership through the APC E-registration that’s ongoing.
In their various speeches, the members applauded the zeal, passion, and philanthropic gestures of Chief Ikenna Ukwa, whom they described as a result oriented, accessible and humble man, who possesses the wherewithal and has excess capacity, both in contacts and resources to bring the needed change when elected in a higher elective position.
They acknowledged his numerous infrastructural development which includes provision of over 5000 solar powered street lights across the Federal Constituency, educational support programmes, free medical outreaches across the clans and beyond, legacy empowerment programmes to the youths, women and the disabled, among various welfare support to the populace.
They promised to remain loyal and committed to the Ikenna Ukwa movement, adding that with all he has achieved even when not holding any elective position, he will do more when given the opportunity to represent and speak for the interest of all the clans in Arochukwu and Ohafia LGAs, in a higher elective office.
While assuring Ikenna Ukwa of their maximum support in his political ambitions, they prayed to God to grant him success in all his life endeavours even as he continues to touch lives positively.
