Tinubu, Buhari, APC First To Inform U.S. Of Christian Genocide In Nigeria – Babachir Lawal

An erstwhile Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Babachir Lawal, has responded to the allegation of a Christian genocide in Nigeria made by US President Donald Trump.

Appearing on Politics Today, a programme on Channels Television, Lawal said that President Bola Tinubu, his predecessor Muhammadu Buhari, and a delegation of the All Progressives Congress, APC, were the first to inform the US government about the issue under the previous administration.

“Trump might be right and might not be right. But don’t forget that Tinubu, Buhari, APC delegation were the first to tell the US government about Christian genocide in Nigeria under Jonathan’s administration.

“Now the same APC people are saying there’s no Christian genocide in the country because they are in government.

“Forget about genocide or no genocide in Nigeria. The issue is that guarantee the security of our lives and property. That’s all we want from government,” he stated.
