Key areas of focus include road infrastructure, with the recent commissioning of numerous roads in Aba and Umuahia, including Umuode Road, Bakassi Road, Dozie Dual Carriageway, and Isu Ihiteukwa Street. These projects have improved business activities and economic growth.
The rehabilitation of Market Road from Asa to Eziukwu Road Aba, the reconstruction of Clifford Road Aba, and the reconstruction of Afikpo Road demonstrate the administration’s commitment to infrastructure development. These initiatives have undoubtedly improved the quality of life for residents and businesses.
In healthcare, Governor Otti’s administration has prioritized the commissioning of retrofitted Primary Health Centres (PHCs) across the state. Out of the first phase of 200 PHCs undergoing renovations and retrofitting, 100 have been completed, equipped, and are ready for use, significantly improving healthcare delivery. The governor’s directive to commence healthcare services in these facilities underscores his commitment to quality healthcare for Abians.
