CONGRATULATIONS TO OSAHON OKUNBO ON HIS AWARD AS NEW TELEGRAPH YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR 2024
Yesterday, Friday 21st February 2025, I honoured the invitation of my friend and brother, Osahon Okunbo, who received an award as the New Telegraph ‘Young Entrepreneur of The Year 2024’, after his nomination by the Board of Editors and Panel of Judges of Daily Telegraph Publishing Company Limited, publishers of New Telegraph newspaper.
The event, which was held at Oriental Hotel in Lagos was Chaired by Chief Bode George and was attended by other distinguished awardees and personalities.
Osahon, the son of late Captain Idahosa Wells Okunbo has continued to build upon his father’s legacy while forging his own path in business and philanthropy. He is the Chairman, Wells Carlton Hotels and Apartments, and an Entrepreneur with 15 years of leadership experience.
The award is well deserved considering his exceptional track record in national development, societal upliftment, and relentless service to humanity.
He has also demonstrated his philanthropic gestures through the activities of the Osa Okunbo Foundation in the areas of poverty eradication, education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and housing.
