These two schools; Okaiuga Nkwoegwu Sec/Primary School, Nkwoegwu Umuahia North and Abayi Umuocham Model School, Umuocham, Aba, bear more eloquent testimony to the direction we are going in the education sector.
The Alex Otti led-government is very intentional and methodological in tackling infrastructure deficit in our schools and raising the standard of education in Abia.
Governor Otti’s mandate to those in charge of all levels of our education sector is very simple; Restor the lost Glory of our schools by building standard and quality infrastructure, Create the enabling environment, Train and retrain our teachers, Review our curricular and get every aspect of it updated to meet the demands of the modern world, Create a discriminatory incentive packages that would ensure that teachers in our schools are motivated to put in their best, and above all, Let them enjoy a new retirement age.
Governor Otti’s mandate is being implemented to the fullest and what you are seeing here is going to be replicated in every LGA and the 184 wards of the state.
