Yesterday Orie, the 6th of July 2024, Professor Emmanuel Ume Lekwa Imaga was laid to rest with his ancestors, his creator and Chukwu Okike Abiama.
The ABIA State Governor Dr. Alex CHIOMA Otti OFR was ably represented by his Deputy Engr. Ikechukwu EMETU and other top government functioneries, captains of industries, business men and women from different parts of Nigeria and diaspora. The House of Rep member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa, House Member representing Ohafia South,Hon. Kalu Nwoke(Etiokwe) and South East Deputy Chairman of Labour Party Hon. Ceekay Igara were also present at burial ceremony
Prof. E. U. L. Imags was the “Ebiri” of Elu Ohafia, Udumeze of Isiama autonomous community, Ezie Ohamoha of the Ohafia Udumezema people.
It was Prof that united Nde Ohafia through the Ezie Ogos of the 26 villages of Ohafia Kingdom.
