I extend my deepest condolences to the family, friends, and associates of His Royal Paramountcy, Prof. E.U.L. Imaga, Ebiri of Elu, the distinguished Chairman of the Council of Ohafia Monarchs (Onoko Nde Ezieogo Ohafia), and the respected Udumeze of Ohafia. His departure is a profound loss not only to his immediate family and the Elu community but also to the entire Ohafia Kingdom and the academic world.
Prof. Imaga was not just a royal leader; he was also an esteemed academic whose intellectual contributions were immense. As a sound professor, his insights, teachings, and mentorship were invaluable to many, leaving an indelible mark on the academic community.
His support and encouragement of political aspirations, including mine, were a testament to his belief in nurturing leadership and empowering others to serve and contribute to society. His guidance was a guiding light for many aspiring politicians and community leaders, and his belief in the potential of others was both inspiring and empowering.
As we mourn his loss, let us also celebrate his extraordinary life, his contributions to academia, his commitment to leadership in the community, and his unwavering support for emerging leaders.
