A video has surfaced on social media showing the moment Kogi State governor-elect, Usman Ododo, knelt before incumbent governor, Yahaya Bello, to present his certificate of return.

The video saw Ododo kneeling before Bello as he presented the certificate at the Independent National Electoral Commission office in Lokoja on Friday.

As he presented the certificate to Governor Bello, his followers could be heard praising him as they sing “you are a leader.

Usman Ododo of All Progressive Congress, APC, defeated Murtala Ajaka of Social Democratic Party, SDP and Dino Melaye of Peoples Democratic Party in Kogi gubernatorial election held just last week Saturday.

Ododo, Kogi governor-elect, kneels to present his certificate of return to incumbent Governor Yahaya Bello.
