INEC Issues Certificate of Return to Col Akobundu
The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has issued a certificate of return to Augustine Akobundu as the duly elected Senator Representing Abia Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly.
This follows after the court of Appeal sitting in Lagos sacked Hon Darlington Nwokocha of the Labour Party.
INEC had earlier in February 2023 declared Hon Darlington Nwokocha as the winner of the 25th February 2023 Senatorial election.
