Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa Win’s as Apeal Court Reverses Tribunal Judgement, Affirms his Victory in the General Election.
The Court of Appeal, Lagos, has set aside the judgment by the National Assembly Election Tribunal in Umuahia which declared Daniel Okeke of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the last election for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency of Abia State.
A panel of the tribunal led by Justice Adeyinka Aderebgbe, had sacked the member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency, Hon. Chief Ibe Okwara Osonwa, for non compliance with the electoral act 2022, in a petition filled by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the election Chief Daniel Okeke.
There are Jubilations all over in Ohafia and Arochukwu on the outcome of the judgement which shows the general acceptance of Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa of Labour Party.
