The Japanese man who made global headlines for spending thousands of dollars on a hyper-realistic dog costume has been left heartbroken after real dogs avoided and refused to play with him at the park.
The Japanese man identified as Toco had spent millions on ultra-realistic costume to look like dog due to his undying love for the animal.
However, despite spending such amount of millions of money, he was disappointed to find out that other dogs did not treat him as an equal.
In an interview with The Sun, Toco expressed his disappointment, stating, “They seemed a little surprised, and unfortunately, they did not treat me as an equal.”
He reacted to words from critics as he insisted that he will carry on with his passion for roleplaying.
He said, “I’m just sad that people can think that. I love animals and enjoy play-acting like a collie. This is my hobby so I will carry on”.
Toco hinted that he is now searching for other therians (People who identify as non-human species) to connect with.
