Alex Otti Attended Welcome Party Organised For President Bola Tinubu In Lagos State
The governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, was in Lagos State for a welcome party organised to honour President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Tinubu, who was sworn in as president a month ago, landed in Lagos State a few days ago for the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
The governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, organised an event to officially welcome the president to his home state.
Several prominent Nigerians, including governors, senate presidents, speakers, and others, attended the event, which took place at the Lagos House in Marina.
Alex Otti, the lone Labour Party governor, was also seen at the event. The presence of Alex Otti at the event came as a surprise to many Nigerians because he is a member of the opposition party.
This comes a few hours after the governor was criticised for failing to hang Tinubu’s portrait in his office. In a picture circulating on social media, Alex Otti was seen in an office with his portrait hung on the wall, while Tinubu’s was missing.
