AROCHUKWU/OHAFIA 2023: HIGH CHIEF DANIEL CHIMEZIE OKEKE VISITED IHECHIOWA COMMUNITIES AND PLEDGED TO INFLUENCE DEVELOPMENTAL PROJECTS IN THE AREA.

The APC Candidate for House of Representatives, Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency; High Chief Daniel Chimezie Okeke PhD visited Ihechiowa communities in Arochukwu Local Government Area.

Residents of the communities welcomed him with fanfare and jubilation. Appreciating his visit, they noted that since the inception of the 4th Republic, no reasonable developmental project has been attracted to the communities. Decrying the state of infrastructure in the communities, residents berated the government for neglecting them, claiming that even basic needs are a challenge in the communities.

could not hide his disappointment at the situation of things in the area, condemning the neglect of the communities by the
government, “A functional government will not neglect her people, the PDP has been in power for 23 years, but look at the community it represents. They cannot even provide basic amenities for the people”

High Chief Daniel Chimezie Okeke appreciated the people’s warm welcome, stating that he was not in the communities only to campaign but to also see the environment and support them in any way he can.

Expressing his political ambition, Chief Daniel Chimezie Okeke further admonishes the people to have faith that he will help them when he becomes a member at the Green Chamber. He promised to bring national attention to the communities by proposing bills that will further strengthen the economy of the communities, develop and harness the tourism potentials of the communities to transform their natural resources into monetary value.
