It was another victory for the body of Christ as Bishop Dr. Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha was a special guest at the Ministers Prayer Network Int’l for their 2023 prayer summit at Asa Ukwa West.
Bishop Onuoha while addressing the over 3000 worshipers explained what late Bishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa told him 27years ago. In his words; he explained that the late clergyman had said that if men of character and integrity will not rise to lead Africa, that idiots will soon rule over us all. He charged Christians to take activate part in the political process to avoid being led by people who will take decision that will affect them negatively. He further said that Abia State in particular needs a true man of God to bring it back to a truly God’s own State.
In his address Rev Dr. Madugba the convener of the summit encouraged all christians to go out and collect their PVCs so as to vote out bad leaders. He promised that every member of his household will vote even if it ended in the night. That they will vote people of character and true Christians irrespective of their Political party.
The highlight of the event was the introduction of the deputy Guber candidate for African Democratic Congress ADC. Hon. Lady Glory Nwasimuo who incidentally is an Usher in the Camp. Prayers were made for the candidates as Dr. Madugba prayed that God will not allow bad leaders to rule Abia again.
