POWER OUTAGE IN OHAFIA AND THE TRUE POSITION.
This morning we visited the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) District Office in Umuahia for an update on the move to restore electricity in Ohafia.
I was in company of the Mben Political Assembly (MPA) President, Dr. Eme Uche Onu and other of my brothers.
We met with the District Business Manager of the EEDC, Ozo Eze Onyebuchi who assured that his men are already working round the clock to ensure that power is restored within the shortest possible time.
This move became very necessary following some deceptive articles being peddled in some quarters all in a bid to take the Glory of our dear Governor who graciously approved funds for the Restoration of Light in Ohafia.
We are aware of the fact that we are in the electioneering period and those who are seeking for power would do or say just anything to falsely draw attention to themselves.
The EEDC District Manager has assured that his office will not be dragged into unwarranted media publications as it concerns the power outage in Ohafia.
With his assurances, we are expecting back electricity in Ohafia this week.
We want to assure our people that we are on top of the situation and will definitely not let them down.
