ADVOCATES OF TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY IN GOVERNANCE (ATAG) yesterday 25th November, 2022 visited Bishop Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha at his Vision Africa Radio Complex to endorse him as sole Candidate for the March 2023 Governorship election.

Excos of the group from 17 Local Governments of Abia State led by Prince Iyke Uduma said, having accessed all the 18 Governorship Candidates of all, the political parties in Abia State, that it was only Bishop Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha that stands out in terms of integrity, Accountability and transparency. That the rest are carrying baggages and history of poor integrity and transparency.

They promised to mobilize their over 50,000 members across the 17 LGS of Abia State to work for Bishop Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha’s victory in the forthcoming Governorship election.

The group came with Cartons of Campaign T-shirts, Flags, Banners and other Campaign Materials to Support his Campaign. They promised to do more as stakeholders to the enthronement of true democracy which Bishop Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha’s regime as incoming Governor of Abia State will represent.

Bishop Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha in his response, thanked the leadership of the group for being in spirit and identifying with his candidacy and endorsing him as their Consensus Candidate. He further said that the period of blowing only Siren and blocking roads as Campaign strategy alone is over as the electorates are wiser and more sophisticated. He also told the group that he and his team has all it takes to win the forthcoming Governorship election in the state and promised to harmonize and integrate members of the group into his structure and the Campaign Council
